GC Fuji 9 Extra Posterior Restorative Glass Ionomer

GC 9 Extra Gold Label is a type IX glass ionomer cement used as a high strength restorative for posterior teeth. It is a strontium based glass ionomer cement containing strontium glass. This provides good radiopacity and the snap-set characteristics that are highly preferred. The strontium present in the cement mimics calcium forming strontium hydroxyapatite and strontium fluoroapatite, which promote remineralization of the tooth structure from within. Gold Label 9 has a surface strengthening effect which is brought about by the diffusion of calcium ions from the saliva into the glass ionomer restorative. These glass ionomers strengthen over time in saliva. GC Gold Label 9 displays a glossy surface after mixing. This indicates the presence of sufficient polyacrylic acid to begin the ion exchange process. The movement of ions between dentin, enamel and the restorative results in chemical fusion. The seal that results from using this restorative material is consistent, predictable and long lasting. GC Gold Label 9 has desirable physical properties such as high compressive and flexural strength, high wear resistance, good radiopacity and low solubility. Shade A3 available. Specification:- High Strength Radiopaque Posterior GIR Chemical setting without shrinkage Similar thermal expansion as tooth structure Strontium based fluoride releasing formulation Indication:- Class I and small Class II restorations in non-load bearing areas Class I and Class II fillings in primary teeth Transitional restorations Core Build-up Benefits:- Minimal cavity preparation Internal remineralization is promoted Surface strengthening properties Good colour match to the shade of the tooth Protection against secondary caries Lesser stress on the margins and marginal seal Durable and long lasting restorations Easy manipulation and handling

GC Gold Label 2 Glass Ionomer (10g)

GC Gold Label 2 Glass Ionomer Dental cement . Its available in 10g Powder & 7gm liquid A Strontium-based Glass Ionomer: - All GC Gold Label Glass Ionomer contains strontium glass. The strontium glass provides good radiopacity and snapset characteristics, unanimously preferred by clinicians around the world. Interestingly, strontium will mimic calcium in the formation of strontium hydroxyapatite and strontium fluoroapatite to affect internal remineralization within the tooth structure. Surface Strengthening Effect:- Research has shown that a strontium-based glass ionomer placed in calcium-containing environment (saliva) will result in calcium ion diffusing into the glass ionomer surface achieving a surface strengthening effect. All GC Gold Label Glass Ionomer strengthens over time in saliva. A Consistent Predictable Seal:- All GC Gold Label Glass Ionomer will display a glossy surface after mixing. This indicates sufficient free polyacrylic acid is available to begin the ion exchange process. The subsequent movement of ions between dentin, enamel and GC Glass Ionomer creates an ion exchange zone which chemically fuses them together. The resulting seal is consistent, predictable and long lasting. Indication: Restoration of Class III and V cavities; erosion lesions, and primary teeth Base and core build-up Features: Chemical bond to tooth structure Tooth-like coefficient of thermal expansion High fluoride release Strontium based Good radiopacity Excellent handling characteristics Reduced moisture sensitivity Translucent material

SDI Riva Self Cure Glass Ionomer Cement

SDI Riva Self Cure (GIC) Glass Ionomer Cement No shrinkage :- Riva Self Cure does not contain resin eliminating the problem of volumetric shrinkage after curing. Sensitivity, resulting from microleakage associated with shrinkage does not occur. BPA and HEMA Free :- Riva Self Cure does not contain Bisphenol A (including it’s derivatives) or HEMA. Use this product on your patients with confidence and peace of mind. Choice of viscosities :- Riva Self Cure easily extrudes into the cavity, but for an exceptional packable, high viscosity material, use Riva Self Cure HV. You have a choice. Bulk fill to save time :- Riva Self Cure can be bulk filled to minimize chair time. Surface hardness :- The greater the surface hardness, the greater the resistance to abrasive wear. Riva Self Cure is a dynamic glass ionomer cement that can withstand high penetration of the surface. The strongest dentin replacement :- When dentin is missing, use Riva Self Cure to replace it. It is the best dental material available today that virtually mimics dentin. No adhesive is required, and sensitivity is non-existent. Like dentin, Riva Self Cure has a very high compressive strength, ensuring it will withstand long term mastication forces. Ideal for minimally invasive dentistry :- Riva Self Cure is the ideal restorative material for use in minimally invasive dentistry (MID) as it is a bioactive material which prevents caries from occurring. Natural tooth structure is preserved, so large cavities and undercuts are not necessary.
